Panasonic

Panasonic manufactures the EverVolt residential solar module series using half-cut heterojunction cells. The line targets homeowners who want high efficiency and a full 25-year warranty on parts and labor.

The Panasonic EverVolt solar module series is the company's residential panel line. It uses N-type heterojunction cells for high efficiency and low degradation. Panasonic backs the modules with a 25-year performance and product warranty.

Efficiency and Technology

The EverVolt EVPV370 and EVPV360 reach module efficiency of 21.2 percent and 20.6 percent respectively. Panasonic uses half-cut cells with heterojunction technology to minimize electron loss. The higher efficiency lets homeowners produce more power with less roof space.

Panasonic rates the panels at 370 watts and 360 watts of maximum power. The N-type cells result in minimal light-induced and potential-induced degradation. The module holds a temperature coefficient of minus 0.26 percent per degree Celsius.

Degradation and Warranty

Panasonic guarantees power output of 98 percent in year one for the EverVolt series. After the first year the panel degrades at 0.25 percent per year. That keeps power output at 92 percent by year 25.

The EVERVOLT AllGuard, AllGuard, and TripleGuard warranties cover the panels for performance, product, parts, and labor for 25 years. The 25-year labor warranty requires installation by a Panasonic Authorized, Premium, or Elite installer. Homeowners get one long-term warranty that spans hardware and output.
